I couldn’t write another Marriage Monday post without an apology and a thank you. First, the apology. I know I have been off these last few months and that my weekly posts have become more like every once in awhile ones. When I have posted I have felt like the posts were not as good as they could of been and that my writing was greatly suffering. I am very committed to this blog and this ministry and thank the Lord that this is not a “real” job or I’d have a lot to talk about with the boss man right now concerning my performance. And thank you. Thanks for sticking with me. It is so encouraging to see new likes on the Facebook page, a consistant amount of site hits and people who still read the posts that I have been able to write.
The last few months have been full of excitement, fear, low motivation and hard work. Excitement over our new baby on the way, fear over whether or not this baby would be ok after our last miscarriage and a few weeks of bedrest, low motivation due to first trimester yuckiness and low energy, and lots of hard work with our moving process into a new house. I’m happy to say now that we had an appointment yesterday and baby is healthy and well, the fear still creeps in but God is faithful and we are finally allowing ourselves to get excited about this little one, and we are all moved into our house (this doesn’t mean the boxes are unpacked, but hey! I’m happy to be here.).
So all this to say, I’m ready to come back for real and I am excited for the opportunity to share new things the Lord has put on my heart. There are fun things a-coming like a new website design, a new November Prayer Challenge, and some holiday goodness. I so treasure your prayers as I go forward. If you’d like to know what to pray for specifically, here’s a little list:
- Prayers for motivation to write and God-given inspiration as I do.
- Prayers for our little growing family- for health, for peace, and for wisdom.
- Prayers for our marriage as Satan likes to attack those that go against what he is doing.
- A continued growth for this blog so it can be used for God’s glory.
You all are the best and I am excited for what God has in store for all of us through Mystery32!
Philippians 1:3-6~ I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always praywith joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
