An Introduction…

This being the first day I have opened my laptop since the birth of our sweet boy, I was unable to get a post to you Monday and I do apologize. I’ll be scheduling that first guest post starting this coming Monday and yes, sneak an extra week of a break in there too. ;) God was very faithful for Isaac’s delivery, but we did end up needing an unplanned cesarean after 20 hours of labor and a no show baby. Because of this, the recovery is a little more difficult and I’m just going to enjoy as much of a break as I can get! If you call waking up every hour of the night to feed a baby a break… (I love every minute!).

So for now, I’d like to introduce you to the newest member of our little family, our sweet Isaac David. Born at 8 lbs 7 oz and 20 inches long…

To put it mildly, we are quite smitten. We just love our little boy and love being parents! Even if we are a bit sleep deprived…

Thanks for hanging in there with me as I adjust not only to being a mommy, but to being a blogger mommy! I’ll get the hang of it soon enough. :) We appreciate your continued prayers as we continue on this new adventure!

Congratulations! What a beautiful little boy. It is harder to recover from that C-section, but I consider any childbirth a good experience that results in a child. Take it easy. Sleep when you can. And remember that when it comes to raising children: The days are long, but the years are short.
